The Kearney SportsPlex Play Zone is a designated turf space where kids can enjoy open play during special events — giving families added flexibility while parents take advantage of other amenities inside the facility.

Who Can Participate

• Open to children ages 7 and older.

• Children under 7 are welcome but must be accompanied by someone age 16 or older.

Admission & Waiver

• $5 per child per visit.

• A completed Play Zone Supervision Policy Form is required prior to entry and can be filled out at the Front Desk or online in advance here:

What to Bring

Children are welcome to bring their own balls (soccer balls, footballs, kickballs, etc.) for play. All participants must remain within the designated Play Zone turf areas to ensure safe and organized facility use.

Supervision Policy

SportsPlex staff members are not childcare providers. Their role is to monitor the overall space and enforce turf rules — not to supervise individual children.

• Children may enter and exit the Play Zone freely.

• Parents or guardians must remain inside the facility at all times.

• Parents are fully responsible for the supervision and safety of their children during Play Zone use.

Rule Enforcement

To maintain a safe environment:

• Staff will issue one warning for rule violations.

• If behavior continues, staff will contact the parent/guardian and the child will be removed from the Play Zone.

• No refunds will be issued for suspension due to rule violations.

The Play Zone is designed to provide a fun, active outlet for kids while keeping safety and organization a top priority for everyone enjoying the SportsPlex.
