Event Admission
Do I need to pay admission to attend events?
Some events may charge admission, set by the event organizer—not by the SportsPlex. Contact the event director for pricing.
Payment Options
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept cash, credit, and debit. The SportsPlex is not a cashless facility.
Bag Policy
Is there a clear-bag policy?
No, but guests are encouraged to limit the number of items they bring.
Food & Drink Policy
Can I bring food or drinks into the SportsPlex?
Yes, outside non-alcoholic food and drinks are allowed as long as they’re not in glass containers or require heating.
Can I bring food or drinks onto the courts, turf, or track?
No. Only water in capped plastic or metal bottles is allowed on those surfaces.
Are coolers allowed?
Yes. Small coolers (up to 12″x12″x12″) are allowed. Larger coolers must be pre-approved by staff.
Can I use food delivery services like DoorDash inside the SportsPlex?
No. All deliveries must be handled outside the facility.
Tobacco, Vaping, & Alcohol
Is smoking or vaping allowed at the SportsPlex?
No. The facility is tobacco- and vape-free.

Only registered service animals are allowed and must remain leashed. Some events may restrict access.

What happens if I lose something at the facility?
Lost items are kept at the front desk for 30 days. The SportsPlex is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

Is there a private space for nursing mothers?
Yes, we provide a private lactation room with seating, outlets, a table, and sink access.

Weather Policy
Will the SportsPlex close for bad weather?
Inclement Weather & Facility Closures
The Kearney SportsPlex prioritizes the safety of its patrons, employees, and visitors when making decisions regarding facility operations during inclement weather. SportsPlex management will determine when weather, facility conditions, or other safety concerns require the facility to delay opening, close early, restrict operations, or close for the day.
SportsPlex-Initiated Closures
If the Kearney SportsPlex closes, delays opening, or closes early and a scheduled reservation is affected, SportsPlex management will notify the primary contact associated with the reservation by email, using the email address on file with the user’s account, as soon as reasonably possible following the decision. Users are responsible for ensuring the contact information associated with their account remains current.
When all or a portion of a reservation is canceled as a result of a SportsPlex-initiated closure or delayed opening, the user may:
- Reschedule the affected reservation or portion of the reservation to another available date and time at no additional charge; or
- Receive a full refund for the affected reservation or a prorated refund for the portion of the reservation that could not be utilized.
Rescheduled reservations are subject to facility and surface availability. The Kearney SportsPlex cannot guarantee the same day, time, rental space, or other conditions associated with the original reservation.
The standard 48-hour cancellation requirement and $10 administrative refund fee do not apply to reservations canceled or otherwise affected by a Kearney SportsPlex-initiated closure, delayed opening, or early closure.
User-Initiated Weather Cancellations
If the Kearney SportsPlex remains open and operational, scheduled reservations remain in effect. A user’s decision not to travel to or utilize the facility because of weather or travel conditions does not constitute a SportsPlex-initiated cancellation.
Any user-requested cancellation or refund when the Kearney SportsPlex remains open will be subject to the standard Cancellation & Refund Policy, including the 48-hour notification requirement and applicable $10 administrative fee.
SportsPlex management reserves the discretion to consider extraordinary weather or travel circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Any exception granted under such circumstances does not establish a precedent or guarantee similar exceptions for future reservations.
Facility Closure Authority
The Kearney SportsPlex reserves the right to modify facility hours, delay opening, close early, restrict access to specific areas or activities, or close the facility when SportsPlex management determines that weather, facility conditions, or other circumstances present a safety or operational concern.
Whenever reasonably possible, affected users will be notified promptly following a decision that impacts their scheduled reservation.

Code of Conduct
What behavior is expected of guests?
Respectful behavior and sportsmanship are required. No abusive language, violence, or vandalism will be tolerated. Violators may be asked to leave.
Supervision Requirements
Do children need adult supervision?
Yes. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by someone 16 or older, unless participating in a scheduled program or event.
Do I need to check in upon arrival?
Yes. All guests must check in at the front desk unless otherwise instructed for special events.
General Rules & Reminders
What are some general rules I should know?
- Use the facility at your own risk.
- Report any injuries, damage, or safety concerns immediately.
- No tobacco, alcohol, vaping, glass bottles, drugs, or weapons.
- No bouncing balls or warming up outside designated areas.
- Proper athletic attire is required.
- No skateboards, drones, hoverboards, or bikes inside.
- Bring clean shoes during winter to protect playing surfaces.
- Use headphones for personal music.
- No photography or videography in restrooms or showers.
- Follow staff instructions at all times.
